Group music therapy sessions provide opportunities for individuals to connect, learn, and grow through shared musical experiences. Led by a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC), sessions are designed to address the unique needs and goals of the group while encouraging participation, self-expression, communication, and social connection.

Groups may incorporate instrument playing, singing, songwriting, movement to music, improvisation, music listening, lyric discussion, and collaborative music-making experiences. Depending on the population and setting, music therapy groups can support social skills, emotional regulation, communication, cognitive functioning, self-esteem, physical coordination, coping skills, teamwork, and overall quality of life.

At Clinical Chord Music Therapy, we believe every individual possesses unique strengths and the capacity for growth. Our group services foster a supportive, inclusive environment where participants can build meaningful connections, develop new skills, and experience the therapeutic benefits of music alongside their peers.
